  • Drawing Emotions for Kids

    Learn to draw various emotions! Recommended age is 5 - 10 years old. Drop in to the shop any time during open hours between May 10th and May 16th - just let us know you're coming beforehand so we can have things all ready for you :)

  • Drop-in Craft Club

    Thurs May 14th @ 6:30pm
    Pay want you want
    Bring your craft projects and work on them amongst other crafters! A fun night of socializing with your fellow crafty folk set to ambient music. Snacks and fruity tea also available!

  • Paint Some Dinosaurs

    May 17th - 23rd
    $15 + HST
    Paint two 3D-printed dinosaur buddies! Drop in to the shop during open hours between May 17th and May 23rd to paint two adorable 3D-printed dinosaurs. Please message us beforehand so we know when you're coming and we will have everything prepared for you!

  • Watercolour Pencil Otter

    Mon May 18th @ 6pm
    $35 + HST
    In this month's watercolour pencil class, learn to draw an adorable otter! $35 +tax all materials provided, and you get to take home 5 watercolour pencils! Registration ends 8pm May 17th

  • Aboriginal Dot Painting

    Thurs May 21 @ 6pm
    $35 + HST
    Learn a bit of the history behind Australian dot painting, practice some common motifs, and then dive right in to create your own painting inspired by the beautiful designs of Aboriginal dot painting. You get a take-home kit that includes 9 special dotting tools. Registration ends 8pm May 20th

  • Bird Blobs

    May 24th - 30th
    $15 + HST
    Enjoy some silly creative time by painting some bird blobs! Use very simple techniques to create silly, wacky-looking birds using acrylic paint and pastel pencils. No experience is required - besides, ANY shape can be turned into a bird! Drop in to the shop during open hours any time this week.

  • Watercolour Fruits

    Mon May 25th @ 6pm
    $35 + HST
    Learn basic watercolour techniques by painting some fruits! Practice with a couple types of brushes and experiment with washes and wet-on-dry techniques! You also get to take home a set of Mont Marte watercolour paints. Registration ends 8pm May 24th.

About Our Workshops

Our workshops have general age recommendations. However, we never want to turn anyone away who is interested in a workshop regardless of how it's labelled - it's all about your level of comfort! Typically, no experience is required for any of our workshops, as we will teach and guide you through them. Our workshops have three general skill levels:

Bunny Level: These workshops are simple and are suitable for all ages. $15 + tax

Fox Level: These are intermediate workshops suitable for older children and adults. $25 + tax

Bear Level: These are more advanced workshops typically geared towards adults. $35 + tax

Regardless of age, anyone can apply to any workshop! These are just estimated and generalized skill levels for each workshop.

Workshop Structure

Bunny-level workshops no longer require pre-registration and are not held on one specific day. Instead, we've moved to a drop-in system where we hold that workshop all week long and you can drop in whenever you have time! This allows us to work around your (or your child's!) busy schedule while still being able to offer fun workshops for kids.

Fox-level workshops may or may not require pre-registration, and may or may not be held on a drop-in basis. This will depend on the rest of our schedule and the type of workshop.

Bear-level workshops require pre-registration and will typically be held on Monday evenings. Some special workshops might be held on Thursday evenings. Registration ends at 8pm the night before the workshop.
