Welcome, dear friends, to another instalment of the Weekly News at TreeColours! We've got some fun and exciting things coming up, so let's dive right into it!

To start us off, we have a special announcement! Over March break, we have a special workshop series in which kids will learn to create their very own picture books! It's a three-day workshop series being held on Monday March 16th, Wednesday March 18th, and Friday March 20th for only $50! That's $10 off the regular cost of 3 bunny-level workshops! Kids will receive a Strathmore Story Drawing Book that contains 30 double-sided sheets for them to write and draw their story. Registration for this series ends Sunday, March 15th at 8pm, so book your child's spot now!

On Saturday, March 14th, is our monthly casual paint night! No experience is required. All materials are provided, so come and enjoy a relaxing night of painting for only $10 + HST.

We have two exciting workshops lined up for Sunday, March 15th! Our 2:00pm bunny-level workshop is focused on coloured pencil techniques for kids! For $15 kids will learn some tips and tricks to make their coloured pencil artworks really POP! It also keeps them preoccupied for an hour, leaving you free to relax :p Attendees will receive a 12-pack Colours of Kindness Crayola coloured pencils. Registration for this workshop ends 8pm March 14th, so reserve your spot now!

At 6:00pm, we have our bear-level workshop that also uses coloured pencils, but also a graphite pencil to create some contrast! You'll learn to draw an apple using a matte graphite pencil, but doing a section in coloured pencil to really make it pop! The workshop is $35 and you get to take home four high-quality Polychromos coloured pencils and a Pitt Artist Matte graphite pencil!
